Karen has been an idea factory since she was 9 years old. On her final report card in elementary school, her Grade 6 teacher commented that “Karen is going to lead a very interesting life”. So true!
She’s enjoyed a career as a director/writer/producer of documentaries and factual television and current affairs for major broadcasters such as: Discovery Channel, ARTE, CBC, TVO, A&E, CTV and Global. Karen’s curiosity for video storytelling has seen her travel the world to locations as varied as China, Australia, Ethiopia, Cambodia and Haiti.
If you’ve watched shows such as Mighty Ships, Intervention, Studio 2, Nerve Centre, Who Do You Think You Are?, then you’ve seen the quality of Karen’s writing and directing skills.
